CHURCHES-ON-THE-HILL - FOOD BANK

The Tenth Annual Meeting of the Members of the Churches-on-the-Hill Food Bank was held on June 6, 2007. At the Meeting, the on-going generous response of the Churches and their clergy, as well as the support of the Food Bank’s donors, volunteers and directors, in its mission to provide food to those in need, was enthusiastically acknowledged.

Over the years a number of Churches sponsored food drives which greatly assisted in sustaining the Food Bank’s inventory and, as well, the rotating annual Advent Church service and the musical concerts have financially benefited the Food Bank.

We are truly grateful and we thank the parishioners of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church all for their past support which we trust will continue in the years ahead.

The Churches-on-the-Hill Food Bank has approximately 150 volunteers and its member churches include Calvin Presbyterian, Christ Church Deer Park, Deer Park United, Grace Church-on-the-Hill, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Timothy Eaton Memorial, St. John’s Latvian Lutheran, and Yorkminster Park Baptist.
