CHRISTMAS CHEER SUNDAY

December 9th after both 9:30 and 11:00 am masses

Come down and enjoy coffee, tea and something good to eat. We’ll sing a carol or two and the kids can make a holiday craft. If Santa’s not too busy, he’ll be visiting too! This is a “free” event. However, we would REALLY appreciate baked goods donations – cookies, muffins, cakes – would be fabulous.

Also, we need HELPERS to assist. Please mark that column on the sign up sheets available in vestibule. Thanks for helping us put on another very fun event.

Lectors Workbooks for 2008

Parish Lectors please note that the Lectors Workbooks for 2008 are now available in the sacristy. A donation of $15.00 would be appreciated to help cover the cost of the books.

A SINCERE THANK YOU

to Mary Gentry and all the ladies in the Craft Circle for the very successful sale last weekend that raised $1,203 for the organ.

Parish Financial Reports

Our parish finance council is in the process of switching our accounting procedures to a computerized system. In the long run this will be a much more efficient system but it does take some set up time. As a result we will not be ready to distribute a third quarter report on the finances of the parish as we have done in previous years. The new system will however be sufficiently in place to enable us to provide an end of the year report as usual.

PARISHIONERS OF OLPH

If you are a parishioner of OLPH, are you registered? You can register on-line through our website www.olphtoronto.com or you can fill out a registration form in the vestibule and place in the collection basket. You have the option of supporting OLPH church by requesting Sunday Envelopes or by participating in the Pre-Authorized Monthly Program (donation withdrawal is made once a month from your bank account). For further info or to request Sunday Envelopes, please call Helen at the office at 416-489-1540 ext 221.
