BAPTISM PREPARATION SESSION
All parents wanting to have their child Baptized in the upcoming months must have an interview with Karen Corcoran, Lay Pastoral Associate before each Baptism Preparation Session. Please note that the Baptism Date must be confirmed with Karen BEFORE you make arrangements for family and friends to attend. Monthly baptisms are on a first come first served basis.
The next Baptism Preparation Session will be Thursday, March 27th, 2008 at 7:30 pm in the Library.
The upcoming Baptism dates are: February 17 at 4:00 pm and March 29 (Sat) at 5:00 pm

World Day of Prayer 2008
Churches on-the-Hill World Day of Prayer Service, Friday, March 7, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (St. Clair & Mt. Pleasant Rd). Everyone is invited to take part in this worldwide event. Reception following the service. Please join us.

This electronic-Newsletter will inform parishioners of what’s going on in the parish and beyond. Please help to build an e-Community at OLPH by signing up for this exciting publication.
The Insider will include:
- upcoming events (updates/reminders) – not just at OLPH but in the archdiocese and wider community,
- what’s new at OLPH – latest happenings and news around the parish and neighbourhood,
- news/info that was not in time for the paper Bulletin,
- special news (Holy Week schedule, baptismal service, new additions to the website, etc),
- link to the latest weekly Bulletin and homily,
- miscellaneous info including interesting websites, various presentations, fun material, etc.

- The Insider will be emailed every other Sunday,
- you can subscribe (or unsubscribe) at any time,
- your name and email address will be held in strict confidence to respect your privacy,
- the bulk emailing to be used will show only your name or email address,
- this e-Newsletter is not to be confused with the semi-annual publication of the OLPH “The Icon” Newsletter. Whereas The Icon includes longer articles on various subjects, The Insider will provide brief and timely information.

REGIS COLLEGE – OPEN HOUSE – March 1, 2008
Regis College, the Jesuit Faculty of Theology at U of T, is hosting an Open House on Sat. March 1 From 10 am to 3 pm. All are invited to learn about the programs in lay formation, spiritual direction, biblical studies and general theological education. The day includes free mini-lecture series and a light lunch. Requirements for Marriage - at Our Lady of Perpetual Help
- For a couple to be married at our Lady of Perpetual Help, at least one of the individuals must live within the boundaries of the parish. If one of the individuals is not Catholic, it is the Catholic party that must live within the boundaries of the parish.
- North: Chaplin Crescent, Davisville Avenue
- East: Forman Avenue, Cleveland Street, Bayview Avenue, Bayview Avenue Extension
- South: Crescent Road, Park Drive Reservation
- West: Yonge Street, CPR tracks, Avenue Road, St. Clair Avenue West, Oriole Road, Lonsdale Road, Oriole Parkway, Kilbarry Road
- If neither party seeking to be married at Our Lady of Perpetual Help lives within the boundaries of the parish, then they must have been registered as a parishioner and financially supporting the parish for a year before any date for a marriage will be discussed.

The Catholic World Comes to Canada!
Registration is still open for the Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to Quebec (led by Archbishop Collins) to celebrate the 49th International Eucharistic Congress “The Eucharist: God’s Gift for the Life of the World”, June 15-22, 2008.
Cost is $1,675.00 (all inclusive) Transportation (roundtrip from Toronto), Accommodation, Meals, Registration, and Access to All Events.
This Congress will be the most important religious event of the festivities surrounding the 400th Anniversary of Quebec City (the first Catholic settlement in North America). Pilgrims are welcome from all parishes in Toronto. Cannot Attend? Consider sponsoring a pilgrim!

Annual Twilight Retreat
at University of St. Michael’s College on March 5, 2008 with Fr. David W. Katulski, CSB as Retreat Director. Theme is “The Call to Holiness: ‘Be Holy for I, Your God, am Holy”.
