Prayer Vigil for Haiti & Chile Earthquake Relief - March 9 (Tues), 11:15 am at Peace Garden, Toronto City Hall. This Vigil is supported by Our Lady's Missionaries, The Sisters of St. Joseph and Lazarous House.
Free Concert Series by the COC at Four Seasons Centre for Performing Arts - till June 2010. These Canadian Opera Company concerts are held at noon on most Tues/Thurs and at 5:30 on first Wed of each month - plus a few other times. They are held in the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre which has a limited capacity. Seating is on a first-come basis with doors opening a half hour before each performance. Earth Hour - March 27 (Sat), 8:30 - 9:30 pm . The idea behind this year's Earth Hour is: how can we do more? What big or small acts can all of us carry out through the day to save even a teensy bit more energy? To encourage people to participate not just in Earth Hour, but conservation around the clock, WWF-Canada will be holding a concert at Dundas Square on March 27. Auditions for St. Michael's Choir School - scouts will be visiting Catholic elementary schools between January and March to audition boys in grades 2 and 3. Members of this choir provide the music for St. Michael's Cathedral. Students in higher grades wishing to audition for the scout should advise their principal.
