Ministries
In April 2003, OLPH introduced a new program that was mandated by the Archdiocese, affecting all parish volunteers. This program "Strengthening the Caring Community" entails a whole new way for the parish to work with volunteers. It requires procedures for screening and monitoring volunteers, as detailed in a letter from Fr. Hannah.
The description of each ministry was developed by the parish Ministry Screening Committee. It was based on the document "Develop a Ministry Position Description" set up by the Archdiocese.
